The Lunacal MCP API lets Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients — AI assistants, agents, and integrations — act on behalf of a Lunacal user. With a single consent, your client can check availability, create and cancel bookings, and manage event types.

Base URL

All endpoints live under /api/mcp/.

Conventions

Every endpoint accepts POST only. Any other method returns 405 Method Not Allowed, including read operations such as listing bookings.

Authentication

Set up the OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow and keep tokens fresh.

Availability

Fetch open time slots for any event type over a date range.

Bookings

List, create, reschedule, and cancel bookings.

Event types

Create, configure, publish, and delete event types.

Get user consent

Send the user to the Lunacal consent page and receive an authorization code at your redirect_uri. See Authentication.

Exchange the code for tokens

Call POST /api/mcp/token to get an access token and a refresh token.
